My journey into dermal science wasn’t just a career choice; it was a calling. For over 12 years in Brazil, I worked on the front lines as a Registered Nurse, where my passion was rooted in patient care, clinical safety, and the deep, human connection that comes with healing.

When I moved to Australia, I wanted to bring that medical dedication to an industry I love: aesthetics. I enrolled in the prestigious Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science (AACDS) to earn my Advanced Diploma, the highest qualification for a Dermal Clinician in the country. This allowed me to merge my nursing background with the cutting-edge science of skin regeneration.

My time working in some of Sydney’s busiest laser clinics was my “bootcamp.” It taught me speed, efficiency, and how the “big chains” operate. But it also solidified my true calling: I missed the “olhar humanizado”, the time to truly listen to a patient, to understand their story, and to build a treatment plan based on trust, not sales targets.

That is why Daisy Dermal Clinic was born, and why I chose the Sunshine Coast.

I wanted to create a sanctuary, a private, clinical space where you are not a number, but a valued patient. A place where high-performance technology like Sylfirm X and Cynosure Lasers meets the warmth and detailed care that is the hallmark of my Brazilian heritage.

Here, we don’t just “do” treatments. We build relationships and we restore confidence. My greatest joy is seeing a patient leave my clinic not just with glowing skin, but with their head held high.
