Alexandrite Laser (755 nm)
Highly effective for laser hair reduction in lighter skin tones, particularly Fitzpatrick skin types I–III. Its strong absorption by melanin makes it particularly suitable for targeting dark hair in appropriately selected skin types.
Nd Laser (1064 nm)
A longer wavelength that penetrates more deeply and has lower epidermal melanin absorption, making it generally more suitable for darker skin tones, including Fitzpatrick IV–VI, when used with appropriate settings and clinical precautions.
